Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026 · Solo Fork Nutrition LLC

Solo Fork Nutrition LLC ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have - including rights for residents of California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and equivalent rights appearing in other state laws. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not advertise to anyone under 18.

1. Information we collect

When you inquire or book, we collect your name, postal address, phone number, email address, and the content of your messages. Depending on the service, we may also collect the information below.

Food records, lab results you choose to share, medications, and weight history are sensitive personal information. They are collected only with your consent, stored encrypted, visible only to your dietitian, and deleted 12 months after coaching ends. Our services are nutrition education and coaching, not medical treatment; we do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and we follow the instructions of your treating physicians. Food-allergy information is used solely to keep your menus safe.

We also use cookies for anonymous analytics and meeting-point maps; see the Cookie Policy.

2. How we use information

We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we never sell it.

3. Sensitive and health-related information

Health, mobility, and dietary details are treated as sensitive personal information. They are collected only with your explicit consent, encrypted in storage, restricted to the staff member serving you, and deleted on the schedule stated in Section 1. California residents may limit use of sensitive personal information to the purposes stated above - we already do so by default.

4. Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers necessary to run our business (payment processing, website hosting, scheduling software), each bound by contract to protect the data and use it only for us. We disclose information when required by law. There are no other third-party recipients, and we do not disclose personal information for behavioral advertising.

5. Storage and security

Paper records are kept in locked cabinets; electronic records live on password-protected, encrypted U.S.-based systems, and our site uses TLS encryption for submissions. Access is limited to the owner and the assigned staff member. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify affected individuals and authorities as required by law without undue delay.

6. Retention

Contact and booking records are kept for 3 years after service completion for tax and insurance purposes; inquiry correspondence is deleted after 12 months; sensitive planning details follow the shorter schedules stated in Section 1. When retention periods end, records are securely destroyed.

7. Your rights (all states; specifics for California)

You may request: access to the personal information we hold about you; correction of inaccuracies; deletion of records we are not legally required to keep; and a copy of your information in a portable format. California residents additionally have the right to know the categories of information collected (this policy is that notice) and to correct or limit the use of sensitive personal information, as described above. To exercise any right, contact us using Section 9 - no form or portal required, and never a fee. We respond within 30 days.

8. Updates to this policy

Changes are posted here with a new effective date; material changes affecting practices are announced on this page for 30 days. Please revisit occasionally.
